Julie Keck and Jessica King's first movies were inspired by inside jokes and made primarily to tickle the fancies of their closest friends. Now...their goal is pretty much the same - they've just widened their audience a bit. They make short films on extremely low-budgets, so instead of relying on grand special effects, they focus on creating original scripts, emotionally complex situations, and intriguing characters.

Right now Julie and Jess are heading into production for TILT, a feature they wrote (and are producing) for director Phil Holbrook. Soon after they'll dive into a movie adaptation of a naughty memoir by author Kevin Keck.
